Concepts and philosophical thinking can only take you as far as the gates that open toward the emptiness of true contemplation.

We can talk to the end of the earth and it won’t mean there is experimental understanding or embodied knowing.

The mental field does not actually intersect with the truth of reality.

It’s nice to enjoy spiritual conversations, but sometimes they can be just another way of staying busy in our head and not actually going deeper.

Saying that, they are important for getting us up to the gates.

But if we don’t apply the teachings and actually regularly practice them, they are just useless words.
