Finding inner peace involves great sensitivity.

Often if someone is called ‘sensitive’ there is a negative connotation in our western conditioned thinking around it. Seen as a weakness or a burden.

I used to feel it was a curse to be a sensitive person. But nowadays I thank God for gifting me with sensitivity.

It forced me to have to find emotional stability and in the process forged a pathway within me (and continues to) that has brought increasing inner peace.

I have also learnt that when something doesn’t feel quite right, I can trust this and be discerning to choose what is supportive and good. Rather than forego my inner knowing in trying to push past it with a judgement of myself.

Also with sensitivity I am blessed to have the ability to listen with subtlety to emotional and energetic shifts and this informs my ability to be of support for others.

If you’re an empathic, sensitive being, be patient with yourself. Find ways to support yourself. Come more and more into your body and grounded-ness. Be with people that are kind and who listen. Time will unfold into more and more beauty for you if you walk this path and hold the intention to keep opening your heart.

It’s worth it.
