What takes you out of the present moment?
Being alive to reality, to the moment, is the same as being in our heart…our heart of aware presence, our heart of listening and receiving and breathing and connection.
What takes us out of this?.. being unconsciously in our thinking.
Focusing with our five senses, our breath and our awareness of our body sensations and movement, are some of the most powerful keys to deepen into presence.
Learning to notice, identify and be alert to thoughts that tend to pull us into being lost in the mental field, is also a big key.

The universe sees us. The universe sees every little thing.
If we experience being unseen, unrecognised and missed somehow by those that are important to us, it is often hard to fully let go of wanting and hoping to one day get through to them.
When we can reach out for other loving connections and learn to deeply see and value and honour ourself, we can heal regardless. We come to realise that the universe sees us. The universe doesn’t miss a thing.

The foundation of our being IS spirit.Without any effort, fundamentally we are spiritual beings.
We are awareness/consciousness/spirit/life energy in form. Becoming awake to this opens life up in an entirely different way.

Wholeness is only found in the now.
One definition for healing, is to make whole.
The only doorway for healing, is through the present moment.
Our healing journey is about seeing, bringing compassion to and releasing all that keeps us out of the now.

Guided Meditation was held this evening.
May we all find freedom.
May we all be free from suffering. May whatever is ready to be released, arise safely and find healing. May we all find freedom.

Next one will be in another fortnight’s time.
Blessings to all.

When we’re really listening, we’re not thinking.

Learning to listen is also about learning to let go of the noise of our own thinking.

Wisdom is found in the unknown, not through facts.
All ideas are simply movements of thought in the mind. They come, they go, they change all the time.
Yes we need to understand and use facts and analytical thinking to help us function and communicate in life. However, finding wisdom is a much vaster endeavour than simply assimilating intellectual information.
Wisdom is found only when we learn to observe and release our identified attachment to our thinking.
Wisdom comes when we recognise ourselves beyond our mind; as consciousness conscious of itself. It comes when our inner silent knowing presence is enough. When we rest in this, we relax about being right, being so much the one in control or needing to prove anything.
That’s why wise people often have less to say, less need to make their point, and will be less likely to argue or create conflict. For what? In wisdom there’s no personal self left to benefit.

The universe is full of compassion.
When we let go what do we let go into?.. the compassionate embrace of awareness.
I might add, in light of watching some footage of the flooding in Nelson right now, the universe can seem anything but compassionate!!! Within the physical laws we live through, there is no mercy, just reality 😮
Compassion however, IS there, in the formless realm. In the relationship and energy of allowing and loving ourselves through our experiences. We are this loving embrace. We are consciousness and consciousness can always expand in compassion.
May these devastating events bring our compassion and right action toward each other forward.
