Work on yourself first.

Work on yourself first.

When trauma occurs our psyche and our capacity to cope are completely overwhelmed.
Sometimes it’s not until years later, that we are faced with elements of our trauma arising from the unconscious in often very confusing and difficult ways, and we realise we need to do our healing work.
We need help to recognise and change the limiting protective patterns we have built around us and to gradually and safely bring loving connection to that in us that has been fragmented, suppressed, disowned, shamed or disconnected.
Trauma is not shameful, it is human and it takes courage to face. Anyone that does this inner work needs all the love and compassion they can get.
And in the end, the gift of healing work, is to deepen, to come more into your own heart, into self connection, into more authentic loving relationships, to know what you need and to find kindness, aliveness and recognition of the precious fullness of life.

Live meditation was held this evening on Instagram @ratnadyer. Available to access and view there.
My intention is to do one every two weeks, with the new moon and the full moon. So feel welcome to join.

Go slow to go fast.
We are a lot more effective and powerful when we are aligned with the pace of nature, our heart, and life around us.
Be in the timelessness of now, connected and alive with being.
Enjoy!

Be allowing and loving with whatever feeling arises within you, rather than imposing positivity on to yourself, negating or disallowing difficult feelings.

True kindness takes great courage and strength and includes holding clear, self respecting boundaries.

We have different levels of our being, our intelligence, our knowing. The mental level is very important of course, but sometimes the answer doesn’t lie there. We need our heart and our spirit and our opening up to the unknown, a letting go, for some of the most important answers to come through.

Learn to listen to the more subtle layers of your experience.

What goes up must come down. When we seek highs, we also experience their contrast. Nothing wrong with this, it’s part of the ride.
However.. deep joy is not privy to the laws of duality. It is stable and whole, as it is synonymous with the simplicity of being, presence and who we really are in our true nature.
As they say.. to find true joy, look within. We are not separate from being, from presence, from life itself. Seeking this conscious connection within ourselves and with life, is where lasting fulfilment can be discovered.
And when we know ourselves well, our relationships with others become more and more beautiful.

Habit is a powerful thing. Use it consciously. Make it work for you. Life is made up of all the small things we do.
