Attuning to the energy of gratitude is the most joyous, humble, wise, nourishing practices one can have.
When we experience true gratitude, we experience a full heart, a happy life, an open channel for life and love.
When you’re feeling low or anxious, try thinking of as many thing as you can for which you are grateful. Speak them out loud to yourself, feel the truth of your appreciation, and after only a few minutes notice your energy shift.
We can be creative about what we are grateful for. Like:
I am grateful there hasn’t been an earthquake today.
I am grateful that I can breathe freely right now.
I am grateful that I have enough awareness to find gratitude right now.
I am grateful for the air and the light and the green and the sea.
I am grateful for my heart beat, for my feet carrying me.
I am grateful for the birds singing, the late afternoon sun, the softness of my puppy’s coat, the clean sheets on my bed and my ability to lie down coz I’m not stuck on a plane having to sleep sitting up.
I am grateful for my cup of tea and icecream.
