Creating new patterns, we have to unlearn the old ones.

Sometimes the most challenging part of change is recognising that which we carry with us from the past and keep repeating.

We need to become conscious to our thought patterns and often out-dated safety mechanisms, so we can be prepared to see them for what they are when they rise up.

Life will present us with triggering experiences until we see clearly from what part of us, and our past experiences that our reaction is coming from.

Seeing this, we can learn to care for that part of ourselves differently and support ourself to let an old pattern, and way of relating around it go.
