Don’t forget your relationships are the most important thing.

Even personal growth and spirituality can be unconsciously used as a bypass for being deeply available, vulnerable and close in our relationships.

Also a strong attachment to our beliefs and ideas can create division. We can often be so focused on what we think is right or the truth, we forget to be kind.

Relationships are where the rubber meets the road for the things we might learn, expand or improve in our growth. They are where it all gets truely put to the test.

Of course it’s important to dedicate time to ourselves, to our self care, spiritual practices and taking space, and yet it is important to recognise the right balance of this and the relational health it creates with our loved ones.

Our connectedness is important to everyone and such a gift.

The energy with which something is being delivered can often tell us more than what a person is saying.

It is important to discern who we choose to listen to and spend time with.
How do we feel when we are with them?
How aware are they of their energy, their presence, and the way they are impacting those around them?
Do they talk at us or with us?
Is there room for your voice too?
Are they able to listen?
Do they ask us how we are or only talk about themselves?
How do we feel after we’ve spent time with them?
