You are responsible for what you focus on.

How do you create your reality?
What things do you focus on?
Do you see the love or judgement?
Do you bring kindness or distance?

Our mind seeks evidence for what it believes to keep backing itself as right.
Create a gap.
Open to curiosity.
Only you can change your world.
Get support to open your mind right out and gain awareness of how your thoughts and beliefs are.
When we can see them clearly we can choose to change them and receive life anew.

In order for things to be re-made, they first need to fall apart.

The hardest part of the process to trust is when things as we know them are crumbling. When our sense of security or something seemingly so certain shifts, changes or is lost.

This is the nature of life however. Everything is in a constant state of growth, loss and renewal.

Look at the rhythm of the seasons for example. The basis of all nature.. We have autumn where all the old leaves fall away, then winter where the branches are barren and bare, and yet inwardly incubating life force in time for Spring, where they burst forth with new fresh growth and blossom into full abundance with the heat of summer… all to then fall away again.

If we can find peace within knowing nothing is able to be kept the same forever, then we can learn to trust life when the falls happen.

In this way we can understand that a life crisis is also a birthing ground.

Finding inner peace involves great sensitivity.

Often if someone is called ‘sensitive’ there is a negative connotation in our western conditioned thinking around it. Seen as a weakness or a burden.

I used to feel it was a curse to be a sensitive person. But nowadays I thank God for gifting me with sensitivity.

It forced me to have to find emotional stability and in the process forged a pathway within me (and continues to) that has brought increasing inner peace.

I have also learnt that when something doesn’t feel quite right, I can trust this and be discerning to choose what is supportive and good. Rather than forego my inner knowing in trying to push past it with a judgement of myself.

Also with sensitivity I am blessed to have the ability to listen with subtlety to emotional and energetic shifts and this informs my ability to be of support for others.

If you’re an empathic, sensitive being, be patient with yourself. Find ways to support yourself. Come more and more into your body and grounded-ness. Be with people that are kind and who listen. Time will unfold into more and more beauty for you if you walk this path and hold the intention to keep opening your heart.

It’s worth it.

Meditation is not about you making something happen. Meditation is about letting go of the you that is trying to make something happen.

There are many different approaches and ways of meditating. Different ways resonate with each of us.

It is really helpful, and necessary to have a wise teacher to help guide us with our meditation journey. To help us recognise some of the pitfalls and misunderstandings that can keep us from progressing on the spiritual path.

Today I was listening to a free audiobook on YouTube by one of my favourite teachers titled:

‘Adyashati – Guided Meditations’

This is an exceptional guide to how to approach and consider meditation. Highly recommend.
