Anger is often a cover for our vulnerability, our hurt, our sorrow.

When you’re angry or frustrated, let yourself feel it, allow and acknowledge it in a healthy way. Identify any thoughts or narrative that keep feeding it and let them drop. Then look deeper. What feeling might be lying underneath?

So often anger is a more surface layer emotion and the key to releasing it more successfully sometimes comes with being willing and safe enough to be with other feelings it might be trying to protect us from having.

Surrender to your existential aloneness.

Being willing to be deeply alone and to lean into the layers of feeling we might have around this, until only space remains… is a doorway to freedom and an inner connectedness with all of life.

Often we resist our aloneness, like it’s a problem we need to avoid. We can run our whole lives from it.

Surrendering is a blessed relief.

Don’t ask your relationship to be your everything. Receive and enjoy, but YOU BE your everything FOR your relationship.

It seems a common phenomenon that when we get into a new close relationship, that we can tend to somewhat let go of our self responsibility, our self care and our self autonomy.

Based on our past experiences, our conditioning and our (often unconscious) expectations, we can tend to kind of slot into a dynamic in our relationships.

Be alive to this! We can learn to use our relationships to see ourself, our belief systems and ego structure more clearly.

We can practice honing in on our patterns and our learning when we are feeling reactive, defensive or triggered.

Let’s hold space around thinking relationships are there to fix us or make us happy. They are there to enjoy for sure, however they are also there to help reflect to us how WE can be more empowered within knowing ourself better. How WE can come into being the happiness of our true self when we gain inner clarity with self awareness and take responsibility and care for our fears and insecurities.

It can feel like a hard slog at times, but with self commitment we can come into the fullness of who we really are. We can be our everything for ourselves and for those we love.

Love is the ultimate observer, loving even the observer.

Within the journey of spiritual awakening, we must learn to wake up from and observe our mind and the parts of us that play out; their thoughts, emotions and reactions.

Through stepping into the observer position we create an inner bridge to clarity, space and conscious choice. This opens life to new, more harmonious ways.

With diligently practicing the observer, over time that becomes our natural inner position of awareness. It takes a certain committed effort to remain awakened in this way, especially when we are triggered, but over time it does become more and more our stable way of being.

With good guidance and deep meditation and contemplation, we then come to discover that there is even a knowing in us that the observer is there. This knowing is beyond the observer, because it can observe even the observer.

When we can expand our acknowledgment to this level of awareness, we are recognising source energy, the absolute, pure awareness, loving divinity. We are one with grace.

There is no personal, individual experience here, simply loving awareness, formless full emptiness, nothing and everything at the same time.

Lean into this. Go deep. Feel this absolute allowing, freedom and love. Always here. Be your own bridge.

I am loving awareness.
